GMNeTS is led by Dr Ian Dady (Consultant Neonatologist) and a lead nurse, Viviane Hall (ANNP).
Working alongside them is a team of middle grade medical staff, ANNPs and nurses. Admin support is provided by a team secretary.
The team now have use of a response vehicle (RV). This will enable the team to respond more quickly to
unplanned post-natal transfer requests and should also help to reduce the amount of time that the team requires an ambulance crew for when undertaking unplanned transfers. It will however only be used when attending unplanned transfers from hospitals within an hour travelling time.
